Grimlore Games is THQ Nordic's original German game studio that made a foundation since before 2014. A developer of real time strategy games including SpellForce 3. The Grimlore Games team joined Nordic Games in December 2013 and got in 2014 their dedicated entity Grimlore Games GmbH. The main focus of the team lies in the RTS and RPG genres for core gamers.

Grimlore Games was founded in December 2013 by THQ Nordic GmbH (formerly: Nordic Games GmbH) with key members of former Munich based game development Studio Coreplay to develop high quality and innovative games. The main focus of the team is top down based games in the RTS and RPG genre for core gamers. THQ Nordic is dedicated to bring great games to gamers all around the world. Owning many well known genre leading IPs serves as a baseline for developing new games.
Grimlore is mainly focused on games for PC, MAC and Linux but has a core technology that is also ready for consoles and mobile/tablet platforms.

The company is working with THQ Nordic on SpellForce 3 an RTS/RPG hybrid game set in a fantasy world based on the popular SpellForce series created by Phenomic Game Development.

Grimlore games has been established by Nordic Games AB and operates as a development studio in Munich, Germany. They are currently searching for exceptional & passionate people who lived for the video gaming industry like pros.
